الاتحاد العربي لرياضة سباقات الهجن (المهاري) هو هيئة رياضية أهلية عربية مستقلة ذات شخصية اعتبارية وغير ربحية، تأسس تاريخ23/2/ 2002  ميلادية  في مدينة ( دوز ) بالجمهورية التونسية .

3- The official language: Arabic is the official language of the Federation.

Goals :

The Federation works in cooperation with the continental and international federations and bodies of common interest to achieve the following objectives:

Spreading and developing the sport of camel racing (skilled) in the Arab countries by organizing sports competitions among the members.

 Preparing technical and administrative cadres for the sport of camel racing (skilled).

 Work to raise the technical and athletic level of camel racing (skilled).

Strengthening relations between members, providing advice and advice, and settling any disputes that may arise.

 Strengthening relations with the International Federation, federations, bodies and relevant continental and regional organizations.

 Supporting the presence of Arab expertise and competencies for camel racing (skilled) in decision centers in regional, continental and international bodies

Supporting members when participating in international and continental competitions.

 Supporting and encouraging scientific research and authorship, enriching the Arab library with books and translations related to the sport of camel racing (skills), and supporting Arab authors and translators.

Contribute to the development of the Arab sports environment for the sport of skilful camel racing, raising the level of awareness and participation in the development of society. 

Contribute to the development of the sporting environment. Activate the sport of camel (skilled) sport to preserve it as an authentic Arab heritage and draw the attention of the world around us that this sport belongs to the Arabs since ancient times.

Organizing short and long races (marathons) and any other forms of camel games (skills) that the General Assembly decides to introduce from time to time and which do not conflict with the laws and regulations of the Federation 

Facilitating the transfer of (skilled) camels between member states to participate in tournaments organized by the Federation in terms of customs procedures, veterinary medicine and transit fees.
